Salary (Pay Scale):PB-2 Rs.9300-34,800 with Grade pay of Rs. 4800/-
Selection Method :The selection to the post is prescribed to be made on the basis of a competitive written examination, viva-voce and interview. The written examination consists of a single paper of 2 hours duration carrying 100 marks (Subjective-70 marks & Objective-30 marks) to test the knowledge of the candidates in the respective languages. Viva-voce and interview will be of 50 and 30 marks respectively. The standard of written examination and viva will be that of diploma of a recognized universitylinstitution in the concerned language.
How To Apply: The envelope should be clearly super scribed as 'APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF'"JNTERPRTER (name of language) and addressed to Post Bag No. 001; Lodhi Road Head Post Office, New Delhi- 110003". The last date of receipt of application is 25.08.2015. For North Eastern States, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep islands, the last date for receipt of applications will be 05.09.2015. Incomplete, unsigned and applications not accompanied by self attested copies of educational qualifications, experience & photograph or received after the last date 'will not be entertained.
